My grandmother has a 6 sons and 2 daughters. She always busy. Because her son’s and daughters all are married and all they have 3 or 4 babies. So she became a big family. She had wanted to take care their grandchildren and to see them. But they lived each other places so my grandmother had to know their different address and different phone number and how to go to there…. So she always went here and there to look after them. She always gave them same love and caring and she made them happy. Whenever I remember her, that times she lived there was no cell phone, no car, no GPS but she could do anything almost herself. She was a so smart and wise person.
It sounds like your wise and loving grandmother was also a traveling grandmother! Your story made me smile and remember my Nana (grandmother). She knew how to make each one of her 9 grandchildren feel like they were her favorite. She also had to travel a lot to see them, and she did. We are both so lucky!
