Heaven's Gate-Telling Lie

All humans have to meet the end of the day.
I wouldn’t like to think about after death. What it will happen to me?
Like in the play, I should go to a room that has one chair , a cup of water and reel of movie which is playing a my own lies during my whole life.

How many lies that I told !!
I learned that I shouldn’t tell a lie to others.
But there are some situations that I tell a lie because I want to hide from fact.
Whenever I don’t want to talk to others , I say, I am busy now.
It’s not true. I’m not busy.
Just I want to hide from that situation.
Sometimes I had been given a present that I didn’t like. I said that I really liked it. I didn’t want to break someone’s heart.
Children learn from their parents that they don’t tell a lie.
But they become adults, they know that sometimes they need to tell a lie.
More important thing is honesty to others and to myself.
If I told a lie, sometime later I could confront that situation and fact . Whether I told a lie or not it is no matter because I could say truth.
Honesty is one of the beautiful things.

In the summer , girls usually wear a brilliant colored exposed clothe such as chiffon , linen, tank tops, hot pants..
How beautiful they are!! Nice weather, wonderful sunshine, fresh air, singing birds and swaying trees.
Sometimes I have heard about accidents because some attractive woman is caught by a drunken man and then they go to court.
If we go to the mall, we can find a lot of beautiful things. They make an effort to show their attractiveness. We can’t take anything that we want. We have to pay for it. Before we decide to get something , we think about what we need.
It seems that man is much weaker to attractiveness than woman ; but if they grab anything that they want, it is illegal. It is violent. If he finds something that he wants, he needs to control how he can get it. Whether that is a something or a someone, it is not free.
If he can’t control his feelings, he needs medicine. It is reality.

Mattew Hanson ; To Be Top of the World

He is regarded by many as the first person to cross the North Pole, and arrived 45 minutes ahead of Commander Peary at what later became known as “Camp Jesup” near the northern extremity of latitude.
As an African American, Henson was regarded as a liability in the media spotlight (and may have been spurned by Peary after the trip). In 1906, three years before obtaining their goal, U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt awarded Peary the Hubbard Medal for his northern accomplishments. Henson was not awarded the same until 2000, 94 years later, in a posthumous ceremony by the National Geographic Society.

In spite of extreme cold, snowstorm, no food, no water, frostbit, and not enough support, they didn’t give up.
What things do they endure?
Could they not give up?
Especially Mattew Hanson couldn’t expect any reward for his attempts, because he was an African. He joined as a servant and he saved Peary’s life on several occasions .
He overcame not only the tremendous power of nature but also the prejudice of people.
If I was him , I couldn’t do even attempt to go to North Pole.
Whenever I have to do something, I choose more safe and easier things. If I have to take unfamiliar things, I need a lot of encouragement and support .
Before I left my home country, I needed a lot of discussion with my family and friends. After a lot of thinking abot my life, I could make a decision. It took 1year. It was not easy to lay down my familiar life and family although it will not be a long time.
Sometime we have to face to difficult things. We can choose whether we go through the obstacles and then find an unexpected joy or give up and then find nothing.
